This Home is located in a quiet location, at the foot of the hills,in the far suburbs of Kathmandu. The children will live in a safe and healthy environment.
The children completed the end-of-year school examinations and are now enjoying their summer holidays. The weather is very hot, about 40°. The whole State of Tamil Nadu suffers of a shortage of water. Watermelon is much appreciated during summer heat. We distributed slices of this delicious fruit to the children who really enjoyed, having fun together.
Les enfants de nos orphelinats ont terminé leur année scolaire et passé tous leurs examens. Ils profitent maintenant de leurs vacances d’été. La saison d’été est souvent synonyme de grosses chaleurs pouvant atteindre les 45° en plein soleil ! Il y a déjà un manque d’eau dans tout le Tamil Nadu. Pour rafraîchir les enfants, nous leur distribuons des tranches de pastèques qu’ils dégustent avec beaucoup de plaisir !

Each year, through the generosity of our friends and partners, Christmas gifts are distributed to all the children of EWM orphanages in India and Nepal. The children performed dances and songs with great talent. See the photos below and also on the page Joy of Christmas/Christmas with the children.

With the financial support of our dear friends and partners, we were able to purchase a minibus to bring the children from the orphanage to their school. It was a great need. Now the children don’t need to walk for miles to go to school. Praise God for this new vehicle!
