The severe disaster due to strong earthquakes on April 25th and 26th and May 12th left the population of Nepal in great fear and panic. In addition, storms and rains caused many power cuts, bad internet connections and communications. The water is not yet safe to drink. Many families have no shelter than tents which are highly vulnerable to the season’s heavy rains and winds. People lost all hope to rebuild their houses. In rural villages in the mountains, farmers lost their livestock and seeds for the next crops.

EWM team explored 250 villages to see the needs in order to help more effectively the villagers. Our target is to reach 3000 families with relief assistance and medical support.
