Anna School welcomes children from Kindergarten to 9th standard.  It includes not only children from our orphanages but also children living in the neighbourhood.  The school is opened from Monday to Friday – 9 a.m to 4 p.m.  Teachers are employed and paid by EWM

Our vision is to provide a high standard of education for these children and to help them develop a strong character and sense of citizenship.  The children are so glad to learn how to write and read.  They consider it is a great privilege to get a proper education in a country where 50 % of the children give up their studies at primary school level and about 47 % of the population of India is illiterate.

We thank all our friends and partners who helped us so generously toward building Anna School in India.  Nothing could have been done without the partnership and prayers.  We give all the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ who gave us the vision and the means to achieve this project.

Kalai Arasi (8th grade): “ I love coming to St. Anna High School because I like this place and the teachers. The teachers made sure that we understood everything, and for any problems with anything at all, at school or in the children’s home, some of the teachers who stay on campus are there for us, every time. I am glad I came; I think my future is a lot clearer now.”
